The Residenza in Farnese offers a pleasant stay in a climate of cordialty in the charme of an ancient house. At number 59 of Via del Mascherone, between Palazzo Farnese and Via Giulia, the Residenza in Farnese rises. It anciently belonged to the Military Order of the Teutonici Knights of the Blessed Virgin; in 1800 the house became property of the Sinibaldi Family that cured the restoration renewing the facade with the style of 1700, conferring to the construction prestige and importance.
In the first years of the '900 it was acquired from the Church that transform it in the center of the Ecclesiastical Institute that supplied to the formation of the new Clergymen; as a result of this various destination of use, the Palace was adapted to the requirements of a religious community and from then its architectonic structure is remained unchanged. This ancient monastery today accommodates a pleasant hotel of 31 rooms, conserved in their original disposition and furnished with furnitures in poor art realized in the Veneto and ancient furnitures brought back in their ancient beauty from restorer artisan who have given prominence also to the furnishings, to the vases and to the crystals fine decorated. The beautiful frescos that make precious some rooms contribute to create an atmosphere of other times. The love for the art and the restoration of the Ladies Marisella and Carla that manage the beautiful Residence today, curing every particular, offers to the Hosts a warm reception.
